THE CHOPINS ARE RETURNING THIS YEAR TO REPRESENT TEAM ROCKIN RELATIONSHIPS!!! WHO COULD FORGET THEIR BEAUTIFUL LOVE STORY!!! The Chopins are so in sync…..their wedding date is 10/10/10! Tanzania Chopin met her future husband through his sister. “I was the mail lady at the apartment complex where his sister worked. I saw Khalid a couple of times while he was visiting his sister at work.” She adds, “My husband is tall and chocolate, and one particular day he caught my eye. He had on all white and I thought to myself ‘OH MY GOD….this dude looks SO GOOD in this white!’ Tanzania approached him. Khalid jokes, “She’s aggressive as hell!” Tanzy goes on, “He works offshore. It was a Wednesday afternoon when I asked him ‘how long are you gonna be home?’ he said ‘I’ll be home for 2 weeks’. Then I said ‘that’s enough time for you to take me out on a date’. Then I realized we didn’t exchange numbers.” Khalid returned the next day (Thursday) to get his future wife’s number and they went out on their first date that Friday, AND THE REST IS HISTORY! The Chopins were engaged by Thanksgiving thanks to a simple proposal. Khalid jokingly says, “We were at Tanzy’s house and I said ‘I can see you being my wife, will you be my wife?” Tanzy adds, “I said I can see myself being your wife and YES I WILL be your wife.” The Chopins keep the romance fires burning by catering to each other’s every need. They indulge in their favorite things: Cuddling, Michael Kors fragrance and Miyako’s for Tanzy; and for Mr. Chopin? Gucci Guilty men fragrance and PLENTY OF “LOVIN”….PLENTY (says Tanzy)! Khalid says, “I give her a massage EVERY DAY when I’m home. We take trips, go out together, and surprise each other with gifts. My wife and I talk A LOT.” Tanzy adds, “I prepare picnics in the living room, or I’ll put a card in his bag when he leaves to go to work. Just little things to let him know he’s always on my mind.” The Chopins both disagree with people who say “marriage is just a piece of paper”. Mrs. Chopin says, “Marriage is a commitment you make to each other and God. It’s something special when you plan to spend a lifetime together with someone and it’s wonderful to know that person will genuinely be there. When you are committed it’s a wonderful feeling, you can’t just walk away I fell in love with my husband because he was the first to accept me for me in the face of all I had been through. I didn’t have to change for him.” Mr. Chopin says, “I fell in love with my wife because she was different, she was focused. Everything I said I wanted in a wife, I found in my wife. She’s hood and classy at the same time.” He goes on, “Anybody can be a girlfriend but you have to be special to be a wife. It’s a special commitment when you are willing to show the world this is who you will marry and make your wife.” THE CHOPINS’ MARRIAGE ROCKS!!
