THE CHURCH AND THE SCHOOL BUSINESS *** There is a bizzare race to establish schools by the CHURCH IN GHANA. WHY? The former missionary schools were taken over (PARTIALLY) by government. WISDOM should have led the CHURCH to focus on JOB CREATION but almost immediately these CHURCHES started establishing new basic and secondary schools. Then again they started establishing UNIVERSITIES so almost ALL the old and entrepreneurial churches (The Pentecostal and Charismatics) are all having UNIVERSITIES (some four-bedrooms...lol). AND MIND YOU, THESE ARE NOT TUITUION-FREE SCHOOLS! I ask myself: WHAT IS THE VISION AND FOCUS? Did someone tell the church more schools =Development? How about if the church had led the way in scientific revolution by establishing RESEARCH facilities and industries with the money used in building more schools JUST TO PROLIFERATE UNEMPLOYED GRADUATES TO FURTHER STRESS UP THE SYSTEM? Is the church being a solution or a POROBLEM? The CHURCH is State with the state in Ghana/Africa in that it runs on its own governance and economic structure. With the God Factor, it has unlimited power to mobilise unlimited resources. These resources are NOT IN ANYWAY THROWN UP INTO THE SKIES FOR ANGELS TO COLLECT THEM FOR GOD (at least I havent seen any church do that). So the WEALTH IS utilised here on earth! I TELL THE CHURCH, COLLECTIVELY, MAY HAVE MORE MONEY THAT THE COUNTRY! So if after hundreds of years (with the so-called Orthodox churches) and decades (with the others) there are still UNEMPLOYED YOUTH AND POOR OLDS IN THE CHURCH AS MEMBERS THEN THE CHURCH IS PA FAILED STATE with gross leadership problems! And this is one area it exhibits its weakness in LEADERSHIP! Instead of breaking into an INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION when the state took ove their schools, they went ahead to start building new ones as if their children were kicked out of the old! WISE LEADERSHIP would have made the BANKING SECTOR the Monopoly of the Church. WE STILL THOUSANDS PRAYING FOR JOBS IN THE CHURCHES. WHAT AN INSULT!! -ABEKU Adams SPEAKS! #CanWeDiscussThisOnTV?
