THE CONSISTENCY OF GODS WORD - Old Testament - The Lord said to Moses, With him I speak face to face, clearly and not in riddles. (Numbers 12:8) New Testament - He did not say anything to them without using a parable. But when he was alone with his own disciples, he explained everything. (Mark 4:34) Old Testament - Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the LORD your God that I give you. (Deuteronomy 4:2) New Testament - If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll. (Revelation 22:18,19) Old Testament - The towns you give the Levites from the land the Israelites possess are to be given in proportion to the inheritance of each tribe: Take many towns from a tribe that has many, but few from one that has few. (Numbers 35:8) New Testament - At the present time your plenty will supply what they need, so that in turn their plenty will supply what you need. The goal is equality, as it is written: The one who gathered much did not have too much, and the one who gathered little did not have too little. (2 Corinthians 8:14,15) Old Testament - This is what the LORD says-- Israels King and Redeemer, the LORD Almighty: I am the first and I am the last. (Isaiah 44:6) New Testament - Then he placed his right hand on me and said: Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. (Revelation 1:17)
