THE CONVICTS :A NOVEL A gust of wind blew off his hat as he entered my house that early morning. I stood watching helplessly as my mouth gapped in surprise. "Chairman welcome sir! "I said. He looked at my eyes and I noticed the discormfiture nature of his face glazing over my eyes ."Is that how you address me? "He queried. "Ah! Your Excellency, mr Chairman, welcome to my, "I corrected myself. "Yes that sounds comfortable now, "he said as his drooling mustache took cover to enable thick lips draw a long wide smile as we shook our hands. "You know I am not a politician, "I said with a guilt smile that rarely unveiled my well spaced teeth ..I was yet to allow him a full view of my wide -gapped tooth since I was still dumbfounded by what could be his mission in my poor house that early morning. I had neither his contact nor he had mine and I had only shaken hand with him during the burial ceremony of Pa Nantur. "You are one now,"he said, our hands still held each other as his left finger pointed to my chest. I felt been flattered but for the seriousness written on his face. FRIENDS THAT IS THE INTRODUCTORY PART OF MY NOVEL. I NEED YOUR PRAYERS AND ENCOURAGEMENT. THANKS, HAVE A NICE AND PLEASANT WEEKEND. AND FOR THOSE GOING TO CHURCH, HAVE A FRUITFUL WORSHIPPING SESSION.
