THE DEATH PENALTY.....WHATS YOUR VIEW ON THIS ATROCIOUS TOPIC??? I myself have been incarcerated back in the mid/late 80s in some of the worst Correctional Facilities on the east coast of the United States for non - violent offenses and was placed around some of the most dangerous criminals in America including a doctor from Westbury, Long Island who flew out of town.......flew back in........killed his wife........and flew back out but that didnt work smh and here I was sitting next to a cold blooded killer. Anyways, being in such a place is no joke, be it one night or a hundred years, it is very degrading, inhuman, and most times INSANE with the feeling of death with every breath. And so I ask IS THE DEATH PENALTY HUMANLY OR POLITICALLY CORRECT??? Well let me give you all a quick sample story along with a real life PROOF of innocence lost: OK so now you are walking to the store to grab a 7-11 Slurpie suddenly you are grabbed by police and they say you killed a man at a Home Depot parking lot 4 miles away AND they have 2 witnesses that say you are the killer.......O-o.........well times have changed as far as the justice system is concerned because back in the day a lot of cases were coerced by police and district attorneys alike BUT even then a lot of folks were sentenced to DEATH even when there was NO evidence that you were at the crime scene THEY EVEN HAD YOU ON TAPE AT 7-11 AT THE TIME OF THE KILLING AND YOU STILL GOT CONVICTED wtf?!? I now for today can say THANK GOD FOR VIDEO SURVEILLANCE & DNA but this isnt always the case in a judgemental society and group of governmental officials bent up on power and votes, especially through convictions to please THE PEOPLE. OK so now you are on Death Row (depending on the state you reside) with time and years being taken from your life for something you didnt do and when the moment comes that the priest is walking you to that electric chair the phone rings and............YOU ARE RUSHED BACK TO YOUR JAIL CELL........AND WHY???? Because either/or they caught the real killer or the real killer confessed. Hmmmmmmm something to think about BUT imagine this happening 14 minutes after you are murdered by the state/government (TEXAS IS BIG ON THIS INHUMAN MOVE).......OK let me rephrase my question: WHAT IF THIS HAPPENED TO YOUR INNOCENT CHILD??? As you can tell I am 110% against the death penalty because (not only because of my grueling incarceration experiences) which I feel is better to give LIFE IN PRISON as the perfect punishment but also because using the bible to quote AN EYE FOR AN EYE before killing someone, especially an innocent person, is religiously incorrect and inhuman being that those involved (cops, witnesses, the judge, corrections, & executioner) are in fact MURDERERS in my eyes because they took a life.........MANY OF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ME I SEE, Hmmmmmmmmm?
