THE DR MALINGA IN MICHAEL DINGAKE SENIOR!!! Preoccupied in a state of old age and emotional disturbance crippled by years of an unknown legacy besides perhaps what is notably a self confessed Political veteran Michael Dingake masters the Dr Malinga dance in politics of our era. At his age the former Botswana Congress Party President and core founder of the dubious ready to lead enemy of regime change party, Dingake still finds comfort in writing opinionated articles as blind as he is. A fascinating observation on my part,the old man seems to have mushroomed a very myopic mindset influenced mainly by his failed political career in a foreign country were to date it is unknown whether he was convicted for jumping a boarder fence or for black majority struggle. Tendered in obsession to peruse individual egos into government himself and his clique of whisky, gin and tonic drinking mates Gobe Matenge and Festus Mogae helped usher a dictator into office and now he has the audacity to refer to Gomolemo Motswaledi and the Botswana Movement for Democracy as a bunch of turks with nothing to offer besides being excited as the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) of Malema in South Africa. It is the same old man who goes around selling another dictator,a dictator far brutal than the first one, a monster created by himself and his peers to protect their hideous businesses,Yes,Saleshando is a beast,a dictator groomed to swallow the thoughts and aspirations of opposition parties. Michael Dingake should by now accepted without question he has come of age, submerged in delusion he persist to have been friends with the late Nelson Mandela while in prison,a delusion he has come to embrace with those around him,yet fails to succumb to reality and hang his miniature political gloves. His desperate tendencies to seek attention far extends beyond his age. It is at such nonsensical submissions that I come to label the old man as the Dr Malinga dance guru of our politics. He has managed to groom a number of egocentric self confessed political geniuses in the likes of Dithapelo Keorapetse, whom suit in my school of thoughts to refer to as political witch doctors of our time. Just like the Dr Malinga famous dance, Michael Dingake stirs to comment on matters at a pace so energetic and offshore one might believe he is a well articulate individual while he is nothing but a two fingered political hitman. A debatable issue would be whether Dingake is paranoid or just portraying his fantasy curse to see the Botswana National Front on its knees. The man swings jabs left and right as equally noticeable in Dr Malingas dance moves. His hatred for the BMD extends beyond politics,it is a bitter pill for him to swallow,a death sentence for him to see the collaborative efforts and unity between the Umbrella partners. If this hatred is a curse surely he will take it to the grave. My utmost advice to the old man is for him to retire from politics,raise his grandchildren and refrain from picking fights with youngsters,his age mates have long left this world.
