THE ETERNAL HIGH PRIEST…. let us dissect 1 samuel 2:35…. 1 Samuel 2:35-36 (NKJV)……….. 35. Then I will raise up for Myself A FAITHFUL PRIEST who shall do according to what is in My heart and in My mind. I will build him A SURE HOUSE, and he shall walk before My anointed FOREVER. 36. And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left in your house will come and bow down to him for a piece of silver and a morsel of bread, and say, “Please, put me in one of the priestly positions, that I may eat a piece of bread.”’” in 1 samuel 2:35, God clearly said that He will raise up A FAITHFUL PRIEST…. yes, only ONE PRIEST but that said Priest will minister to God’s elect FOREVER… which means that with ONLY ONE PRIEST, AND SUCH PRIEST WILL MINISTER OR WALK with God’s elect until eternity…. that, the said Priest will not die but to continue to minister or walk with us, God’s elect…. i would like to impress that in 1 samuel 2:35, God promised to appoint only one Priest that will minister or walk with us until eternity…. and WHO is this Priest?? God further said that His house will be established…. and a house means, a lineage or a kingdom or heirs of royal blood…. and, since the Priest is lasting and permanent, it also means that He will have also a lasting house or a lasting kingdom…. let us read further in the book of hebrews… Hebrews 1:8-9 (NLT)……….. 8. But to the Son he says, “YOUR THRONE, O GOD, ENDURES FOREVER AND EVER. You rule with a scepter of justice. 9. You love justice and hate evil. Therefore, O God, your God has anointed you, pouring out the oil of joy on you more than on anyone else.” that said Priest will have a throne that will last forever… and ever… that is one of our clues that will lead us to the identity of the Priest that will serve and will anoint God’s elect or kings FOREVER…. by the way, who are God’s King Whom His HOUSE will be established also FOREVER and EVER as mentioned in 1 samuel 2:35?? GOD PROMISED EVERYTHING TO THE SON AS AN INHERITANCE, and through the Son he created the universe. ah, Hebrews 1:2 said that it was His Son Whom God promised a Kingdom that will last forever (hebrews 1:8-9) …. but, if the kingdom of the said Priest will be established FOREVER, WHO THEN ARE PEOPLE WHOM HE WILLMINISTER OR WALK WITH FOREVER?? WHOM HE WILL MINISTER THAT GOD ANOINTED AS KINGS FOREVER EACH DAY, EACH YEAR, EACH ANOINTING SECOND?? who are these kings?? Romans 8:17 (NIV)…. 17. Now if we are children, THEN WE ARE HEIRS—heirs of God and CO-HEIRS WITH CHRIST, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. ah, if the SON of GOD is a king and will minister us forever, romans 8:17 says that we are also kings, co-heirs of Christ in His throne, the believers of Jesus Christ…. so, the kings that the Priest will minister and/or walk with forever and ever in 1 samuel 2:35 are the believers of Christ and God whom we call God’s elect or kings.... let us read more nice verses below about this Priest… Hebrews 5:5-10 (NLT)…….. 5. That is why Christ did not honor himself by assuming HE COULD BECOME HIGH PRIEST. No, HE WAS CHOSEN BY GOD, who said to him, “You are my Son. Today I have become your Father.” 6. And in another passage God said to him, “YOU ARE A PRIEST FOREVER in the order of Melchizedek.” 7. While Jesus was here on earth, he offered prayers and pleadings, with a loud cry and tears, to the one who could rescue him from death. And God heard his prayers because of his deep reverence for God. 8. Even though Jesus was God’s Son, he learned obedience from the things he suffered. 9. In this way, God qualified him as a perfect High Priest, and he became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey him. 10. And GOD DESIGNATED HIM TO BE A HIGH PRIEST in the order of Melchizedek (psalm 110:4). it is clear now that the Priest being mentioned in 1 samuel 2:35, that will live until eternity and will minister and/or will walk with God’s kings and/or God’s elect FOREVER AND EVER, is no other than Jesus Christ, from the tribe of Judah, not from the tribe of the levites…. hebrews 5:5-10 said that God designated and appointed Jesus as a High Priest forever and ever…. Jesus is the ETERNAL HIGH PRIEST….. by such, 1 samuel 2:36 came true… that the levites (those who remain to levite priests until this day) will have to beg or to crave for heavenly food or words of God from this Priest in God’s time…. in short, 1 samuel 2:35 is a prophecy about future events....
