THE EYE OF THE STORM !! People may be wondering as to what is the raison de etre of the earthquakes which are coming on the usually peaceful and harmonious page of my Face Book.In other words what is the story behind the story .YA ILAHI YE MAJRA KYA HAE ?? The reason is this that some self opinionated , thekkaydaarz of liberalism ( read Jahalat ) had taken upon themselves the role that their opinion is the voice of the Pakistani diaspora which is literate , intelligent and well placed in the top echelons of learning and living in the West.So much so that ad nauseum they had actually signed a death certificate of Pakistan and its people and had issued invitations for its soyem. This scribe has always contended that your and your like minded ( i use the Chanddoolee and Barf khanay k chamaarz for them ) views and musings do not reflect the perceptions of the vast majority of Pakistani diaspora living in the West so your personal opinion can be respected but it can not be taken to be the word of God .This had been a constant source of friction and arguments for a long time . A few days back I decided to take the mule to the river .I asked for a survey of Pakistani overseas population as to whether their impression that Pakistan is a totally finished country awaiting its burial are correct or not.It was a purely perceptive survey which was well received by the Pakistani diaspora and the result as expected was that the huge majority about 80% of the Pakistanis living overseas rejected this perception .The logical conclusion was that thus the views and perception of the minority can not be taken as representative of the whole diaspora. Probably this was the straw which broke the donkeys back.Camel being too noble an animal to compare the losers with , even as a figure of speech. I , off course published the results and conclusions and got engaged in musical entertainment for celebrations . .It was then that reports began to reach me that the results of the survey were not to the liking of the Highnesses and Majesties and all sorts of windmills began to churn to discredit the opinion of the people on the survey.Trolling began to be done on seemingly innocuous posts of mine trying to prove that the conclusions of the survey are not true.A curious example being given that since my Assistant Professor was killed this shows that Pakistan is a dead country.Tragic as these happenings are how can they be equated to the death of a whole nation and country ?? .Did Husain. alaihisalaam death at Karbala signalled the death of Islam ?? The rest as you know is history of what you all have been witnessing unsavourly on this page. To quote Faez وه بات سارے فسانے میں جس کا ذکر نه تھا وه بات ان کو بھت ناگوار گذری ھے !!! .Tahir Husain .
