THE FAST & THE FURIOUS 7 TRAILER. Furious 7, as its now being marketed as, is the delayed sequel starring Vin Diesel and the late Paul Walker. Its kind of like THE DARK KNIGHT again in the sense that were watching a film with the eerie feeling of this dude died... except this time no ones expecting any Oscar noms. So will Walkers high profile death have given the film an extra PR boost? It will no doubt cause more interest especially as the studio had to re-write and re-shoot scenes to fit around Pauls premature departure. The trailer itself looks slick with the signature far-fetched stunts the series has been known for but for me the trailer kinda went downhill after that...until hard-man Jason Statham and then Snake Plissken himself, Kurt Russell, showed up. Itll be interesting to see how the new director James Wan takes over the wheel from Justin Lin who directed the last four installments. Wan is more known for his work in the horror genre (SAW) so itll be interesting to see him work on something different, it may give the franchise the fresh new spin it needs or it might result in a massive wreck. https://youtube/watch?v=7F34xZSdlsk
