THE FEAR OF GOD - A Compulsory Attitude for Revelation and Power Psalm 2:11,12 SERVE the LORD with FEAR, And REJOICE with TREMBLING, KISS(Love & Worship) the Son, lest He be angry, And you perish on the way... BLESSED are all those who put their TRUST in Him. Proverbs 1:7 The FEAR of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge... Turn at my rebuke; Surely I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you. Fear is a recognition and submission to authority. Relationship with God does not start with perfect righteousness, which implicates perfect knowledge of God. Relationship with God starts with perfect OBEDIENCE conditioned by FEAR. FEAR of God imposes an attitude of respect, reverence and honor for Him. OBEDIENCE is a proof of TRUST: if you trust The Power of God, you will obey Him. Righteousness is a mental attitude dynamics, and not much about what you do. What you do can only be sustained by what you think and the mental attitude you decide to preserve in your psyche. If your actions contradict your mental attitude, then you are out of your native personality and simply fake. Isaiah 29:13 ...this people draw near with their mouth and honor me with their lips, while their hearts are far from me,... When your actions correspond with your mental attitude coming from Gods word, everything you say or do releases the power of God to act in response. Mark11:24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Only the person who fears The Lord can take rebuke. Taking rebuke is a proof of submission to authority. The fear of God compels God to instruct you in His ways of righteousness, a deep revelation of how the laws in kingdom works, which Jesus summed as The Keys of The Kingdom. Oh Lord give me an attitude of Fear for You, Trust for You, Joy in You and Obedience for You IJN. CF
