THE FIRST OATH TAKES BY A MINISTER BEFORE TAKING UP THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PUBLIC. I, , do swear in the name of God/solemnly affirm that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of India as by law established, that I will uphold the sovereignty and integrity of India, that I will faithfully and conscientiously discharge my duties as a Minister for the State of and that I will do right to all manner of people in accordance with the Constitution and the law without fear or favour, affection or ill-will. — Constitution of India, Schedule 3, Para 5 After the election win when the ministers walk off for an oath for the service of the nation, did they ever imagine that what they are going to read out loudly in front of the public through “promise transcript” to obtain the public confidence in the ceremony hall. Most of our politicians are illiterate (having criminal background) to comprehend the “Para” written in script in the constitution and this is the reason why they act contradictory to the national interest. There should be a law whoever after taking oath of the minister ship are doing corruption should go through lie detector test. It is nothing but embarrassment of the constitution that after going through the oath they do just opposite and thus bring anti-social environments in the country. We should strongly condemn this disgusting process. The Couple of Ministers after taking up the responsibilities and with power and influence start doing wrong unethical activities like corruption and miss-management and start extracting honey (money) from the bee hive (Public Treasury). Today we have many ministers and politicians having huge amount of rupees as Bank Balances and with other wealth including thousands of acres of land. It is also seen that after getting ministerial power they able to set up a business empire of thousands crores Rupees. On the other hand we have poor people/farmers/workers that don’t have single penny, don’t have a single hut and so many things for which they are suffering and crying wordlessly and silently. Is it not their responsibility to think for the nation and act according to the promises that they made in front of the nation? Don’t we have the right to ask them that why they are doing so?
