THE FORCE THAT SETS FAITH WORKING Have you looked around today? What did you see? Love looks around to see those who are sick, those who are in need. Galatians 5:6 - “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything but faith working through love.” We should let love be uppermost in our hearts. Because if you have all the gifts, without love, you are nothing. Remember what the Bible says in the book of Matthew 5:44, “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you”. Who is your neighbour? Your neighbour could be your enemy or those who do not share the same faith with you – love them all. Faith, where it is true, is a working grace. It works by love - love to God and love to our brethren and faith thus working by love is all in all in our Christianity. Without faith working by love, all else is worthless and compared to it, other things are of small value. Some of us have suppressed our faith by failing to walk in love. If we do not have love, our faith is not going to work because faith works by love. It means love is more important because it is the force that sets faith working. We are known by our love. You are known by your love. Jesus knows you not by your name but by your love.
