THE GILBERT 23 MEMORIAL Because it was so late last night that I completed the upload of The Gilbert 23 Memorial, I am reposting it, for those of you that may have missed it. And: I have had a couple negative comments regarding my Memorial and I kindly ask that if you have something negative to say: Keep it off the thread of this Memorial. This is not about YOU or ME. This is about 23 Innocent Dogs who lost their lives in a horrific way and its about the Guardians whos hearts and lives are forever affected by this loss. Now I want to start off by saying this: After four months of working on this Memorial, I feel like I also lost 23 precious babies. Especially precious Patrick, who had no loving Guardian. He was the unfortunate victim of belonging to murderers. I am sure he did not have a life of love, hugs and special treats because those monsters that he lived with do not have a single ounce of love in their evil hearts. From the very beginning, when I learned about Patrick, I ADOPTED HIM AS MY OWN. I wish so much that I could have at least shown him what true Guardians were. I wish I could have let him plop on my sofa and watch him close his little eyes, dreaming what happy and loved puppy dogs dream and gently lean over and give him a soft little kiss on his soft little head. I wish, wish, wish...... Unfortunately Patrick died a horrible death, along with the other precious pups but I will forever feel and say that: PATRICK WILL FOREVER AND ALWAYS BE MY: Adopted Heart Puppy.
