THE GOOD NEWS OF ALLAHS MERCY The prophet salalahu alayhi wasalam mentioned to the sahabas that I stopped you from visiting the graves, now I give you permission, I command you that you do visit, you can visit, because that reminds you of the hereafter. So that the person can prepare themselves. Our aim is to have, wife kids, house, cars, money etc. if our life ended here, then this world would be as our jannah. Sahabas asked, who is the wisest? Prophet Salalahu alayhi wasalam said: The one who remembers his death the most and prepared for it. When one remembers death, everything becomes actually easier. Hazrat Luqman told his son, never forget 2 things. 1) is death 2) is the presence of Allah. If someone keeps reminding himself about death, everything will be fine. Nothing is about knowing, it’s actually about making it alive. Putting it into action, knowledge doesn’t enlighten you if it’s dead, it has to be fresh and alive. How do you remember death? One must Read the hadeeth about what happens after death to the good and bad, the angel of death, the punishments etc. Famous verse of the quran, “oh the blessed soul, the satisfied soul, come back to your lord, you are pleased and he is pleased with you”. How wonderful is that life when Allah looks at it, and he becomes pleased with you. The first this ayah was revealed, hazrat abubakr said, there’s nothing better than Allah being pleased with his servant, prophet salalahu alayhi wasalam said, oh abubakr, you are the one who will hear this, this will be said to you, oh abubakr you will be one of these. The greatest thing is that when Allah becomes pleased with you, it’s the best feeling one may have, hazrat Abu Bakr has approved of this. In the graveyard there are 2 groups. One is the group of jannah and the other is the group of hell. One part of the graveyard holds the one who has died on imaan, and the other holds disbelievers. No matter how many times one falls, one must go back to Allah, if Allah has given you a few breaths to take, it’s as though Allah is saying I want you back, come back.
