THE HEART IN THE ART OF LIVING 1. The daffodils, and all flowers; The colours and the beauty; The vengeance and retribution; The variegated justice; From the surface of the Earth. 2. Stretch the imagination; Extend the vision; Guard the insight; Protect the innocence; In the depths of the hearts, 3. It is a funny place; It is a strange dwelling; A far and near site and sight; That makes one sick; Yet one has no escape. 4. Who are they? Where are they? Where is their den? Were they to be seen? Perchance to be heard? 5. The breeze, the wind and the heat; The trees, the grass and the forest; The lions, the fish and the rabbit; And especially the rabbit, Treachery, tricky little thing, 6. Tender are the kingdom hearts; The bodies and sizes notwithstanding; They are all very worthy, So I reckon! In the depth of my heart! 7.
