THE HEART OF GOD We all have a heart but the fiscal heart is not the heart the Lord is after. The heart of the Lord is the feelings and thoughts you have for God and others . David the shepherd boy had a heart after Gods own heart . What type of heart is that ? Matt 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Eph 4:2 With all lowliness and meekness, with long suffering, forbearing one another in love; Ps 10:17 LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear: Ps 69:32The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God. Matt 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. If you truly are meek, lowly of heart, humble , long suffering ,forgiving then your heart is after the heart of God . For he is all of these and more , these are the hearts the Lord seeks to learn of him and grow in his knowledge . I have meet a few people that do fit this characterization, for they have the heart of God and such is what the Lord seeks to follow him. Only you know where your heart is in Christ Jesus ? Having these virtues of the heart , are the start of real growth in the Lord , For with this your compassion for your fellow man is as the Lord tells us to be. 1 John 4:21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loves God love his brother also. 1 John 4:20If a man say, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar: for he that loves not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
