THE HISTORY OF AFRICANS IS DIFFERENT, THEREFORE THE PSYCHOLOGY IS DIFFERENT! Consequently, if youre going to understand the psychology of African children, you must understand the history of Africans. Therefore, you cant go to European psychology to deal with the psychology of the African child. That is one of the reasons why I wrote, THE DEVELOPMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY OF THE BLACK CHILD. The other reason, of course, is the fact that the African childs body isnt a duplicate of the European childs body. Were not, colored people who are merely different according to the color of our skin...theres more to it than that. Your children represent the oldest race on this earth: THE MOTHER AND FATHER OF ALL OTHER RACES! Their bodies represent that total history, so theyre not duplicates of white children. Theyre generally born with greater SENSORY, MOTOR and INTELLECTUAL advances than white children. They do things on their first few day of life that on average takes white children six or more months to do. Their brains when tested with EEG (Electroencephalogram) and other methods, demonstrates very clearly that theyre by and large more intellectually advance than white children. You must understand that history isnt something that just happens to people, it becomes a total part of their body and existence. We must understand that complete AFRICAN DEVELOPMENTAL HISTORY to better understand our and our CHILDRENS DEVELOPMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY, but weve failed to do so. We must study PSYCHOHISTORY: PSYCHOLOGICAL RESULTS OF UNDERGOING HISTORICAL EXPERIENCES! To a very great extent, the problem of the education of black children, the crack epidemic and substance abuse, black-on-black violence and suicide, and all these other things we complain about day in and day outג€”are the result of a psychology that flows from a particular type of historical experience (ESCAPIST). Youve a school system thats based upon the psychology of white children and white people and youre trying to educate your children based upon that model, THEYRE BOUND TO FAIL! It has a BUILT-IN FAILURE MECHANISM, one way or the other (OTHER-DIRECTEDNESS). Your historical experiences has changed the very way you think. Your very style of thinking, learning and relating one to the other, has been transformed by your historical experiences. In order for the European to maintain their rulership over the world although theyre ten percent (10%) of the worlds population, they must keep Africans in a particular state of mind (ALIENATED). ITג€™S NECESSARY THAT YOU BE BACKWARDS! You must avoid things that have some meaning to you and flock towards things that are destructive to your future or else we wouldnt be oppressed. Oppression rest on people going places and enjoying pleasures that destroy them and who are excited by nonsense and bored by stuff that they should be learning. THATS THE FOUNDATION OF WHICH THE OPPRESSION OF A PEOPLE REST (ESCAPISM). In this world where things are backwards, those who are oppressed are to feel FREEST when theyre most ENSLAVED. If you dont understand the African psychohistory, youre going to be confused. NO PEOPLE ARE BORN THE WAY THEY SHOULD BE FOR A CULTURE! Every culture trains and teaches its people to be what it needs them to be in order to continue its existence. You cannot turn your children and yourself over to other people and expect to be the right people for yourself...YOURE OUT OF YOUR MINDS! Those people are going to educate you into their interests...AND I DONT BLAME THEM! You get run over by buses and try to do everything for an enemy that says, I dont want to be bother with them; I dont believe in them; I hate their guts; I intend for them to stay on the bottom forever, etc. Yet, you continue to make all kinds of sacrifices and push them into their hands and then you complain that, they cant read; they cant write; theyre so misbehaving....
