THE ISSUE SHE BROUGHT BEFORE THE PARLIAMENT IS... about her husband of 8years…they are yet to be blessed with a child. A few years back, a job opening came up and her taking it means that she would have to relocate abroad. Her husband practically forced her to take the job offer and she relocated abroad. The arrangement was such that they would be visiting each other every three months…because they were still trying for a baby. They opened a joint account and about SIX months after she left the country-she realized that her husband made a huge withdrawal from the account. The explanations he gave were not convincing but she let it go. Two months later…he visited and told her that a lady he had a brief affair (he made it sound like a ONE NIGHT STAND) with has had a baby boy for him. She kicked him out the house that night. They have been living apart since then…even though he has been sending people to BEG her… What hurts her in all these is that certain actions of the man seems to point to the fact that he had his plans(of having a baby with another woman) mapped out. For example, she learned that as soon as she left the country-the woman became a regular face in their home…almost like she had moved in with him. As soon as the woman had the baby (a boy)-she disappeared into thin air –leaving the baby for the man. It was also at this period (of the woman’s disappearance) that a huge amount of money was withdrawn from their joint account. Till this day, the man has not been able to explain what he did with the money but she figures that he used it to pay off the mother of his son. She also learned that her husband has taken custody of the baby and now has a CHILD MINDER that helps him out. She said that the man has been begging her to give their marriage a second chance but she finds it difficult to get over his BETRAYAL. She has asked the Parliament to give our two cents on the matter…she asks CAN ONE TRUST THIS KIND OF MAN AGAIN? She is 38years old while her husband is 44years old…he is a civil servant here in Nigeria. They are currently SEPARATED…since the past 2years. They are both from the South East but the mother of his baby is said to be from the South South.
