In response to my last post, this young lady wrote a comment and said: Wow jus realised i lv ma sinful lyf mre thn jesus..enx 4r thoz wrdz I dont understand all of her abbrieviations, but I got her confession that she just realized that she loves her sinful life more than Jesus. PEOPLE! THIS IS WHERE GOD WANTS US. HE ALREADY KNOWS THAT WE ARE ALL SINNERS. BUT UNTIL WE CONFESS THAT WE LOVE OUR SINFUL LIVES MORE THAN WE LOVE JESUS, JESUS WILL NOT HELP US. JESUS HATES HYPOCRITES --THOSE WHO GO TO CHURCH PRETENDING TO LOVE JESUS WHEN THEY KNOW FULL WELL THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO GIVE UP THEIR LIVES FOR JESUS THE WAY JESUS GAVE UP HIS LIFE FOR US. You hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy of you, when he said: This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me; - Matthew 15:7-8 ITS A TEST! LUKE 14:26 IS A TEST TO SEE IF WE ARE REALLY SINCERE IN OUR FAITH. “If anyone comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple. - Luke 14:26 THE LORD HATES FALSE WITNESSES. SO STOP BEING A FALSE WITNESS CLAIMING TO LOVE JESUS MORE THAN YOUR OWN LIFE, WHEN YOU KNOW ITS A LIE. There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers. - Proverbs 6:16-19 NO ONE CAN GIVE UP THEIR SINFUL LIFE UNLESS GOD ENABLES THEM TO. THIS IS WHY JESUS TEACHES THAT WE DONT CHOOSE HIM, HE CHOOSES US. SO PLEASE STOP PRETENDING AND START BEING TRUTHFUL. BECAUSE ONLY TRUTH CAN SET US FREE FROM OUR BONDAGE TO SIN. And he said, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father.” - John 6:65 A personal relationship with God starts with telling the truth. It does not matter what youve done or how many people you have married, if you go to God and tell Him that you know what you have done is wrong then He will work with you, and you are on your way to a real relationship with God, not a false one that you have been pretending to be in -- where you talk to Him and He does not listen to you -- because the Lord ignores the prayers of the unrighteous. If one turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination. - Proverbs 28:9
