THE MIDNIGHT SERMON: When creating new habits, routines and patterns... WHAT IS THE FASTEST WAY TO SCREW IT UP? The answer... Stop, quit or give up. IF A BABY TAKES ROUGHLY 9 MONTHS... A TREE TAKES DECADES... WHY ARE YOU AND I DIFFERENT? When an entrepreneur comes out of nowhere and rise to the top, what we arent seeing is the multiple gigs he/she did for free. LUCKY? BLESSED? Tell me you are kidding. HERE ARE JUST A FEW OF MY FAILURE STATS. Ive spoken and trained for free on so many occasions (well into the 100s). I still have people asking me to come and speak for free. I wrote a book called MoneyBoxSystems back in 2009 and sold maybe 100 copies. I did my 1st seminar in 2007 with about 30 people and had no idea there was supposed to be an upsell or backend sell. I did multiple events in 2009 and 2010 and sometimes the room was set up for 100 people and less than 5 people showed up. I began shooting videos back in 2009. (Look on Youtube) I had my first email list back in 2009. I wrote nearly 200 blog posts before taking them all down. I failed at the internet marketing thing the first time around. I shot videos for companies. I did radio back in 2006 with Mr. Garrett White. I have flown all over the country investing in coaches, seminars, trainings and mentors. (Tony Robbins, Harv Ecker, Steve DAnnunzio, Freedom Fast Track, Producer Revolution, Franklin Squires, Les McGuire, ASAP Training David Stroshine, Roberto Monaco, Mike Dillard, Mark Hoverson, Scott Byrd, Dusan Djukich) and my coach and mentor WAKE UP WARRIOR GARRETT WHITE. Ive bought books I havent even read yet. I paid money for mentors who screwed me over and instead of delivering the high priced coaching I paid for, gave me the Walmart coaching with no results to show. I wired $10k to UK for a website that never took off. I drove to Vegas to sell one of my Peter Lik photos that we paid $8k for and sold it for $2k just to put gas in the car and food on the table. I drove to California with just enough money to hopefully cover the gas and hotel for a workshop I knew I needed to attend. Ive sat in my car and cried my eyes out and bawled uncontrollably when we had no money and wondered how in the world we were going to put food on the table. I had thoughts that maybe my family was better off without me when we were losing everything. I asked my parents for money after I drove my expensive cars and lived in big homes. I traveled the country putting 130k miles between my wifes car and my car in 3 summers paying the piper. Ive recruited people to multiple network marketing and sales teams. Ive coached people for 3 months for free thinking I was really helping them. I lost a million dollars of my money and my family and friends monies. I dominated college football for two years at BYU racking up 20 sacks in two seasons as a starter and splitting time with two beasts who had awesome careers in the NFL. Not to mention the foreclosed homes and repossessed cars and the humiliation. DONT TELL ME YOU CANT DO IT OR THAT YOU CANT AFFORD IT. DONT TELL ME ITS TOO HARD. Are you kidding me? Heres the skinny my friends... WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT? One step at a time. WANT TO MAKE $50K/MONTH? Make the first $1k a month. WANT AN EPIC MARRIAGE WITH REAL CONNECTION? Write the first letter, note or video message to your spouse and be consistent in the process. WANT TO BE AT 4.0 MARKETING? Master 1.0 Facebook Hustle and shooting videos. (I have nearly 200 FB videos uploaded). WANT A LIFE OF ABSOLUTE POWER, WEALTH AND LOVE? Master the small and simple steps every single day. WANT MORE LOVE? Give love. WANT TO HAVE PEOPLE FEEL GOD AROUND YOU? Start talking with God and when He speaks to you... LISTEN! WANT BAD ASS RESULTS ACROSS THE BOARD? Hire a bad ass coach, surround yourself with bad ass people and rise up to be a bad ass. FINALLY... ...STOP BEING A VICTIM AND DO THE WORK. If you knew you were dead tomorrow... would you be ok with your effort today? MY ANSWER... HELL YEAH! When you tell me its hard, and that you cant do it, and that you cant afford it... I JUST SMILE AND LOVE YOU. There were times when I too wasnt ready and thats OK. I know what I am fighting for. My purpose has me deeply committed to go no matter what.
