THE NEXT STOP IS…. Here today, gone tomorrow The bus that travels through this side of the universe stops at many bus stops. Many people alight and many come on board. When you come on board , you have never been on the bus before…..you know not when you will alight….neither are you aware of what stop is ahead and who needs to come off. You trade and shop at every stop possible, but you know not when your luggage will be required of the driver, and all that you are permitted to alight with is all that is in you…….. When you alight, the city ahead of you is new, one that you have never been before. Having this at the back of our minds, shall we not be mindful of how we live? Its only the first month of the year and so many have gone. So many had the plans of what they would do in February, their stop was in January. We dont like to talk about death, but sisters, there is a life after this one. The fact that your mind does not comprehend what happens after this life does not make it less real. The Bible makes it clear….. For it is appointed for a man to live once, after this, there is death! You may need to say it slowly and let it sink in….. For it is appointed for me to live once, after this, there is death. Hebrews 9:27-28 NLT And just as each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment, so also Christ was offered once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. He will come again, not to deal with our sins, but to bring salvation to all who are eagerly waiting for him. Can I ask, my sisters, as much as we all type AMEN to various prayers saying you shall not die…..you know that you will someday, and its not for you to plan the time….IF YOUR BUS STOP WAS NEXT, WILL YOU ETERNALLY CONDEMNED TO LIFE AWAY FROM GOD? Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. You have a choice to believe or not, it still doesnt change it…..HE IS THE ONLY WAY TO THE FATHER. You will have to drop this breath sometime. Your stop is known to Him alone. It is Him you will face to give account how you have lived. The criteria for His acceptance is if you have received and believed His son. Its not too late to accept Him today. He does not condemn you. He loves you no matter where you are coming from and what you have done. If you know that if your bus stop was now and you may take the last breath without the assurance of salvation through Jesus Christ, it will be a sad gamble…..Pls say this prayer wherever you are. Lord JESUS, I come to you today. Tired of running my life by by own principles, Ladened with the weight of my sin. I reach out to you to help me. I acknowledge that you are the son of God And I do believe that God raised you from the dead to save me Lord Jesus, please come into my heart today Save me and make me totally yours.
