THE ONGOING PROJECT TO CONTRIBUTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF GHANA The John Mahama administration has undertaken a number of project. These project include The university of Ghana teaching hospital with 600 beds facilities of it first face, which started April 2013 and is expected to be completed in 2016. The second face however with 400beds facilities is recommended right after the first face costing not less than US$184 million. The maritime hospital with 130 beds facilities also at the cost of GH46 million and is also expected by december 2015 for completion. The construction of the new military hospital In kumasi to ease the pressure on the Okomfo Anokye Teahing Hospital. US$339 million project to construct 6 district hospitals in konongo odumase, salaga, terpa, twifo praso, nsorkor, and adenta as long as regional hospitals in wa and kumasi. The major rehabilitation and upgrading of the ridge hospital in the Greater Accra regional hospital at the cost of US$250 million. The rehabilitation and de expansion of the police hospital with US$175 Million project for the construction of 7 district hospital in secondi, abetifi, garu tempani, kumawu, fomena, dodowa and takoradi with €23.5 million project for the construction of 10 polyclinics in the central region. Another €13.5 million project for the construction of 5 polyclinics in the Greater Accra region €8.65 million project for the construction of 5 polyclinics in the Brong Ahafo region. €78million project for the rehabilitation and upgrade of temale teaching hospital face 1 and 2. US$ 13.5 facilities for the construction of a radiotherapy and nuclear medicine center at the korlebu and Okomfo anokye teaching hospital. We move on with US$257million supply of equipment for some selected medical institutions across the country. US$64millio emergency Trauma and acute care center for korlebu teaching hospital also a 14million facilities for rehabilitation of bolgatanga face 3. These are few most project currently on the way in the north sector in our subsequent bulleting. We would look at the water and road sectors. So as you can see the John Mahama government is into working for the people for a better ghana.
