THE PERILS OF 30-SOMETHING Feeling my age as I rummage through my closet for something nice to wear realising I gave most of it away, when I decided living with excess was a disgrace and I had a social obligation to share with those less fortunate, still not a decision I regret, more of an.... oh crap!!! Im out dated. Then I realise I have to rush to the shops because I havent owned make-up since February thinking I hope I still know how to apply it as my husband tells me - he always preferred me with out it, bless him! I choose while Im at the shop to put the bra back because that could be an extra drink or two. Somehow Ive managed to pull myself together, I remembered how to put that sticky stuff on my face & my out fit is not new. I come to realise these are not the important things I once thought they were. Its time with friends, laughter & conversation.... its moments that are important and now the anticipation of a night out with my favorite girls is building. THINK ITLL BE A LATE ONE!
