THE POLICE WAS CALLED ON ME. THE WORST EXPERIENCE at Oasis Health and Wellness center in Santa Ana. The worst experience here my whole life compared to any services. I was helping my sister with her lawyer as her english is not fluent and I understand some legal term since Im around lawyers being on the board of ACLU. The paralegal said that her case is delayed due to Oasis Health & Wellness failure to send them my sisters record for her accident claim. She made a couple of her attempts, along with fax confirmation of their attempts. From there we went straight to Oasis, figuring this will expedite the process. We walked in, said our greetings, and I told her that we need a copy of my sisters record. Joan acknowledge my sister who she recognized as their patient and ask to see the paper I was holding. Assure me that she had already sent the papers to our lawyers office. I said are you sure and she responded again yes. I handed the papers to her and responded, well I dont know whats going on but in that case its really he said she said since youre saying one thing and the law office is saying another. Can we just get a copy really quick now? Joan told me that she is busy and cant get this done now or today, turn her back on us and went back to texting on her phone. I told her that I dont understand, copying only takes a few minutes, and if she would like, I can copy the files since the copy machine is literally 2 feet from her. She then told me that she dont have time and have to look into it, and proceed back to her phone, ignoring us. By then I was upset at her dismissal and super important phone texting business and raise my voice up a volume. You seem to be busy with your phone texting I said. She got really upset at this point and scream at me saying that her phone texting is work related and that Im being aggressive and need to leave or she will call the police. I responded that our law office had been trying to get a copy from you since MARCH. How busy can you guys be. I dont know what I said wrong but she looked at me with that judgmental look and tried to correct my english. I told her please dont correct me. I went to college, speak three languages, and rank 1% in the country academically since I was in 3rd grade. Now and then, because I speak multiple languages, I will mix my plurals and have a few run on sentences, along with minor grammar here and there like 90% of the country. She said that we need the lean signed before releasing it and she dont have time to check. I said well thats doesnt sound right. You claimed earlier that you already faxed it so the lean had to already been signed. (she was screaming but accusing me of speaking louder and so fearful for her life. Keep in mind that I was there with my handicap 52 year old sister and little niece.) After I call her out on this, she rose up, went inside and came back with a guy to tell us to leave, while she called the police. I said no to him and that all we are asking is for a copy of our file. Refuse to answer us at this point and continue to talk to the police claiming we are strangers yelling at her and she is in fear for her life. I tried to revert my speaking to the guy at this point thinking he will reason but she interrupted him and told him not to help us at all and she want us out as she is again afraid for her life. I was so shock and upset that I was shaking, which she mention to the police as a sign of me about to do something bad. (I personally had been in and out of the emergency room because my system crash the last 4 months. Being in a stressful situation will make anyones voice temple a little. I didnt feel the need to explain my medical to an already unreasonable person). There was never any bad word exchanged little alone a threat of any kind. I told them Im not a threat, Im not a violent person and im no where near you lady. Eventually we were clear she is not reasonable and possibly insane to escalate a situation that couldnt had been so easily handled and left. Also, how dare she use our tax money and call the police, lying about the extremity of the situation. Called our law office as soon as we left. Told them what happened and the paralegal said this was what was happening when she tried to get our paper for us minus the police. That Joan from Oasis said several times that she is busy when on the phone and just end up not following through in sending her the papers. I dont understand how they are in business. First time in my life someone called the police on me. I regret not calling her a bad name to be honest.
