THE POWER OF HABITS, be aware! If you respond with the same behavior enough times the brain will put that behavior on autopilot and it becomes a HABIT. So we must be very selective about the behaviors you choose to repeat. Once the brain puts them on autopilot we will do them effortlessly and unconsciously. The best habits I have created this year are 1) Spending time with God each morning and night 2) Reading my Bible daily 3) Spending time in silence and solitude with God each week 4) Listening to Biblically based training while cooking, cleaning and getting ready each day 5)Listening to worship music during my workouts and 6) Praying before all my coaching calls. These habits replaced many destructive behaviors I had before this year including being a workaholic, trying to control everything, spending time with the wrong people, filling my head with worldly training and influences, and choosing money over spending time with God and others. I am so thankful that this year so many bad habits have been replaced with good habits that grow me closer to God. I still have so much growing to do but its awesome to see how much God has done so far! Ask God what habits you need to create that will grow you closer to Him over this next year....
