THE REVELATION OF CHRIST First Lesson: LUKE 6:27-28 But I say unto you which hear, love your enemies, do good to them, which hate you. Bless them that curse you, and pray for them, which despitefully use you. Second Lesson: 1 CORINTHIANS 2:1-3 And I, brethren when I came to you, came not with Excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know anything among you save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. And I was with you in weakness, and in fear and in much trembling. Golden text: Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father, which is in heaven, is perfect. MAN: THE ARCHITECT OF THE PROBLEM It is said in the Golden Text, “Be ye therefore perfect, even as our Father which is in heaven is perfect”. Brethren, the whole world is moaning and groaning. It is nobody’s fault because the predicament befalling man is traceable to man himself. This is to say that everything in the world today is traceable to man. It is said that, a child who does not want his mother to sleep will equally have a sleepless night. Things have changed because we are in a new world. If you like to believe you can do so and you may as well forget about it if you do not want to. The fact remains that we are in a new world. Therefore, let every one of us be perfect as our Father who is in heaven is perfect. However, you should know that the measure you use for another person is what will be used for you. Brethren, the whole world is in a confused state as a result of our recalcitrance. For instance, you have been admonished not to tell lies, steal, or kill, yet you indulge in these acts. Tell me, what is the need or benefits derived from such acts? What you have seen among you in this generation has not come to you by surprise. It is the fulfillment of the spoken words of God. Brethren, many of you have started seeing these things. Those who did not see them have seen them now. Therefore, there is no more quarrelling, fighting, stealing, murdering and other evil tendencies they have been taken away. First lesson: LUKE 6: 27-28 But I say unto you, which hear, love your enemies, do good to them, which hate you. Bless them that cures you, and pray for them, which despitefully use you. LOVE YOUR ENEMIES This is not the time for people to engage in gossiping, whispering and talking unnecessarily. The reason is that we do not have any dealing with sin again. SPIRITUAL CHORUS: “IT IS LOVE I DESIRE AND NOT SACRIFICE COME AND BEAR ONE ANOTHER’S BURDEN WITH ME IN MERCY.” Second lesson: 1 CORINTHIANS 2:1-3 And I brethren, when I came to you, came not with Excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know anything among you save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. THE REIGN OF CHRIST: Brethren, have you heard that? Now the wisdom of the world is no more needed neither is the spoken word of cunningness. In the same vein, backbiting is not required except the good news of the reign of our lord Jesus Christ as well as his life style. Therefore, whosoever desires to live a pure life should follow the life pattern of Christ, which is love for one another. The concept of loving one another is the only way. Brethren, very soon you are going to be surprised about what you are going to witness because in a little while, there will be no more thieves. You will be at liberty to keep your properties outside and come back to meet them intact without being stolen. Similarly, there will be no more killing, no more fornication, and all other forms of sin will stop. It is our obligation to preach about his crucifixion as well as being the only existing Deity amidst us today. We are enjoined to emulate his love and reveal his Glory. The gospel, which you heard yesterday, centered on the revelation of our lord Jesus Christ, the suffering he received for our sake, love and peace, which he showered on us. Therefore, the same is what we are preaching to the whole world. Brethren, we do not want a teacher here, neither do we want advisers. The reasons, is that, the father has accomplished all things. Therefore, we have left the old world into a new world a good world perfect world and we are into a perfect world now. Brethren, all those who thought and said that He is my friend, I taught him in school, I brought him here, he is my brother. Do not know him. All these proclamation are baseless and they are not needed here at all. The only news we are hearing now is the good news about the life of Christ, the suffering of Christ, the blasphemous words against Christ, his good works and the love of Christ. All those who have love dwell in Christ and abide in him. Brethren, I admonished you earlier before now that many people who are of the view that they will be saved will not be saved because their works are not worthy of salvation. Their works are evil. SPIRITUAL CHORUS: “MY CHILD BE PURE AS I AM PURE FOR NO EVIL DWELLS WITH ME. LOOK FOR NEW LIFE: Seek for new life. The only thing now in existence is the reign of our lord Jesus Christ, his love, patience, humility and the salvation on the entire world as well as the peace and wealth which he has bestowed on the entire world. Therefore, our conversation should give glory to God at all times because his goodness towards us is great. That is all. Brethren, many of you lament that you do not have a Turban and as such you want a Red Turban, or Black Turban. I want you to know that all those things do not matter at all. Instead, the only thing required of you is perfection and we are in it. Brethren, all of you claim that today’s gospel is so wonderful and that of yesterday too. You have been hearing wonderful and inspiring gospels; what good do you derive from them? We are so thankful to the father for what he has done for his long suffering, endurance, mercy, faith, meekness, love, goodness, humility, taking away lack and for not imputing sin on us. Recall what Paul said in 1 Corinthians 13:11 that: “When I was a child I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child, but when I became a man, I put away childish things.” Brethren, we do not have any dealing with your pervious life styles except love, because our lives had passed away. Brethren whoever does what is good, does so to himself and whoever does what is evil does it to himself. Therefore, whatever we have sown is what we will reap because this is time of harvest. Brethren, I do not wish to be tedious with you, for it is said, he who has ears to hear let him hear May God bless his holy words Amen.
