(THE SALVATION OF OUR SOUL) . I like to appreciate as many as liked and as well as commented on my post about miss Zimra & Ken. The Lord will richly bless you. . Actually the taught about this story came as a result of the present happenings in many lives today in Christendom. Many wondered, am i realy born again? Ok if i am why has my life not changed? And most times it becomes difficult to know who is and who is not born again. . Now, looking at the story of miss Zimra & Ken which led to this, these are two guys that have been in friendship for sometime they were into the sinful game together on hearing the word of God Zimra was convicted, and got broken up in the spirit by the Spirit, and responded to alter call; but Ken even though went out for alter call with Zimra, confessed Jesus together, but something took place in the life of Zimra, which didnt happen in the life of Ken. A change of heart (Eze.36:26-27), no wonder when they were going back home Ken wanted Zimra to act the usual way, demanding that Zimra still go home with him for the usual show, but Zimra objected rather opted to quit the relationship. . Now in the eyes of men Ken is now born again cause he answered alter call and confessed Jesus isnt it? but in the sight of God he wasnt. Can we now say indeed he is born again cos he confessed Jesus, all he need now is a progressive change with time, not atall; yes every one that receives Jesus as Lord and saviour, obviously need a progressive change, as to becom like Jesus, which is not automatic, but there must be an automatic impartation/ activation of grace of God which enables the progressive change. (Titus 2:11-12). . Through careful studies of Gods word reveals that, for a genuine repentance to be acheived, there are three basic principles, which must be reached before the grace of salvation is imparted on man. (Isa.66:2b)...But this is the man to whom I will look {and} have regard: he who is (1) HUMBLE, and of (2) a BROKEN {or} WOUNDED spirit, and (3) who TREMBLES at My word {and} reveres My commands.AMP.v. . When these three basic principles are in place, it enables you discover ones self wether or not is born again, or am i still deceiving my self. And be able to know who is born again or not. . Now talking about these three great principles that attracts Gods mercy on a man: The Bible says, ...God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble. (James 4:6). . The sacrifice of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart Oh! God thou will not despise.(Ps.51:17). . Fear ye not Me? Saith the Lord: will ye not tremble at My presence?... (Isa.57:15).
