THE SEARCH FOR SOBUKWES VOICE CONTINUES SILENCED IN LIFE AND IN DEATH - VOICE UNHEARD WE WILL SEARCH UNTIL WE BREAK THE SILENCE For many years I have searched for footage of Mangaliso Sobukwe, just to hear his voice. I have sent emails and communication to various news houses and international journalists from different parts of the world in search of Sobukwes voice. But not one media institution in the world can provide us with either an audio clip or footage of Sobukwe. This is a man who was considered ENEMY NUMBER ONE of the apartheid regime. And in my search I found that Sobukwes audio-visual material had been embargoed from public dissemination by Intelligence Agencies, particularly the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), National Security Agency (NSA) working together with white South Africas Bureau of State Security (BOSS) and others until after 50 years of SA democracy. Many others though still claim that audio-visual material of Sobukwe was destroyed by the apartheid regime as he was banned and considered the Prime Enemy of the State and the most dangerous man in South Africa. I have sent requests to media houses, journalists and historical and political archives to different parts of the world in Europe, The United Snakes, Asia and Afrika to no avail - no one has the voice nor any footage of the Son of Man, Sobukwe. Sobukwes son, Dini Sobukwe (Sacrifice of the Nation) traveled the world in search of his Fathers voice, knocking at many media and archive doors - all in vain. It is only by the will of the Gods of Azania or by sheer luck that we even have access to Bantu Bikos voice and the short footage (documentary film titled Biko - The Spirit Lives) where we can see him speak and hear the sound of his voice. If it were for the devils, Biko too should have been silenced, both in life and death. The devils are so shaken by Sobukwe that they dont want even forthcoming generations to hear the sound of his noble voice. The devils did everything in their power to silence Sobukwe even in death. And to top it off, they even made sure his children and family gain no respectability nor any fame as they should.
