THE STORY OF CHIP AND BUZZ... we rarely reveal the past about our rescue dogs but make this exception. Chip and Buzz were much loved from puppies by a wonderful kind lady, Buzz was hand reared from 4 weeks old. This has made them exceptionally affectionate and kind, Together all their life the 2 dogs are inseparable, and the lady thought she was inseparable too. What a happy life the three of them had !!!! But Heaven had a need for this lovely lady and she is safe with the Angels, leaving Chip and Buzz absolutely distraught. These dogs feel deep emotions, show huge love and loyalty and understand their lady is unable to be with them, they watched her die. Chip especially went into a deep depression, refused to eat and if he tried he threw up due to stress. Buzz constantly panted and whizzed around pacing and whining. This went on for a couple of weeks then we took the dogs into the rescue when a foster became available and our vet sorted Chips stomach acid with an injection. We fed them chicken and rice and gave them lots of exercise and they are beginning to cheer up. This lady was precious, her love was precious, she desperately wanted to stay with them and cried as she died, not because of death but for losing them. The contrast of that love when all we get is 50 phonecalls a day from people who cant wait to get rid of their dogs ..... she never wanted to leave them and fought like mad to stay alive. Our Charity made a pact with the lady that we would treasure her dogs, we made a pact that we would love them and care for them like our own, we made a pact that we would find a home for them together so she could always look down from Heaven and know that they are forever safe and happy. We will honour that pact no matter how hard and no matter how long it takes. Now we are making a plea to you, our Facebook followers, to help us find that perfect home for Chip and Buzz together.
