That’s right — TVD Chapter 16 is now available for your enjoyment! The latest installment in DC Comic’s take on the popular CW show is as gripping as it is harrowing, and we’ve got an exclusive sneak peek at some of the super-dark artwork. Written by Bobbie Chase and beautifully illustrated by Dennis Calero, this particular chilling tale is bound to thrill, especially since it focuses on our beloved Petrova doppelgangers: Elena Gilbert and Katherine Pierce. Considering how Elena has been MIA for a while (damn you, Traveler passenger spells!) and Katherine was recently dragged to hell (or a really scary version of it) in “Gone Girl,” we’re obviously excited for the opportunity to dive into additional side stories about their romances, misadventures and dastardly deeds (mostly Kat’s to be fair). Here’s an official synopsis: Maude’s arrival in Mystic Falls in the fall of 2013 has added complications to the already stormy relationship between Elena and Katherine. Whose philosophy will prevail as they end Stefan’s former lover’s reign of terror?
