THE so called 150 people riot leaving the grand final (Ipswich rugby league)yesterday and walking back to my car , to be near missed by lunatic police cars driving at uncontrollable high speeds through high pedestrian traffic. There was no brawl. 15-20 police at this stage are going ballistic at 4 men and 2 women carrying babies in the center isle of Lowry street. Const MAT D you where at center of this and need commending for showing a example how to put a fire out with gasoline.top job after you finish in the police force SBS DANGER 5 has a staring role for you. obviously with the Newman govt laws about colors/gangs it also applies to football team/supporters?? the police force was so far out of control they had to arrest 8 people to make up the numbers so the idiot fools looked RIGHT for losing total control of the situation. great job spraying a guy in the face while already handcuffed on the ground then drag him up the road and get a garden hose to wash out his eyes between 2 cars.i couldnt see if pol-air had 2 snipers out each side you needed them.? or better still rocket launchers would have fixed the problem. there was NO RIOT.. NORTHS won and all people were simply walking down Pelican street to Norths club and you couldnt help but stop to look at what was taking place. Lowry st north Ipswich looked like the G20 had arrived.
