. . . .THERES ALWAYS THAT ONE. . . .you, know, the one who, the minute you see her, your heart goes out to her. Such was the case Saturday when we were working with the dogs. This beautiful girl is kind, gentle, and loves the soft touch of a human hand stroking her fur. When her pictures, walk, and introductions were done, Rob grabbed the brush from RRs work box. She loved having some of the tangles brushed out of her fur. But, Rob wanted to try to make her feel even more cared for. He took her inside and gave her a bath and another brushing. It was obvious she felt better after her little bath - she was standing in her cage looking out the front fencing as we bid her see you later. Sadly, she has come in as a stray, and no one has come to re-claim her, yet someone cared enough about her to buy her a new, pretty, bright orange collar. Unfortunately, there are no ID tags on that collar. She lies in her cage, hoping and praying one of the people walking by will stop and say, You are the one. You are going home with me. She needs a name. If everyone will post a name for her by Monday night at 7:00 pm, then the names can be voted on, and she will have a new name. In the meantime, anyone interested in adopting her can meet her at Casper Metro Animal Control. Just ask to see #082415 . . . . that is, until she has a new name.
