THES SALARY PAY CUT MELODRAMA İS A GOOF: To me the easiest way to distribute national wealth is through salarisation of the population....The Jubilee power barons just want more development money so that they have more to loot from through big tenders. Paying good salaries the working population make many Kenyans economically empowered,good salaries increase the purchasing power hence spurring other sectors of the economy through multiplier effect. Jubilees top echelons are duping us in broad daylight.Between 2002-2007 Kibaki grew the economy up to 7% by among other things employing more civil servants while at the same time increasing salaries;just before him Moi had sunk the economy to below zero growth rate by implementing IMFs cheap skate conditionalities that included retrenchment of civil servants.Uhuruto are telling us to think outside the box yet they are the ones thinking inside the box.If they cant generate wealth elsewhere except from the civil servants,then they should learn to make do with the little they have than subjecting others to more depression in this tough unforgiving liberalized economy. After all, we gave them the mandate to expand the economy and not to shrink it.
