THEY TELL ME HOW GOOD SONY BRAVIA 4G HD TVs (LED & LCD) ARE I READ THE SPECS AND REVIEWS THEN LOOK UP PRICE AND AT $4000+ MAKES ME VERY HAPPY WITH MY $800 Sanyo 40inch. But that is the whole problem all the development is in things like Entertainment but they are slowly closing down institutions like NASA, funds have been taken away from fusion technology and other great technology that would advance mankind, Especially in the part of the world we are locked into –We are part of the British Empire. Keep us entertained and dumb and pay $4500 for a TV so they can pipe more bullshit into my home. A comment us CEC activist often hear IT MUST NOT BE TRUE ITS NOT ON TV. OR THEY ARE SAYING DIFFERENT ON TV. I have always been interested in technology, Electronics was my hobby, I built my first computer (kit) almost 30 years ago it seems like a 100 Years ago I built my first amplifier. It was 43years ago I was working in the manufacturing plant where the first Pocket Pager Systems were built, Worked at a sound company where we Converted Recording Studio Desks into Road Desks for concert sound systems and turned Hammond C3 Organs into portable units. It is decades since I was a Film Projectionist back when it was a trade and I started at a time when it just switched from 2 in a projection box to 1 and then in these large Cinema Complexes one Projectionist who compared to our training is partly trained and the only projectionist covering 5 to 8 cinemas. Recently the cinemas have become fully digital, the film comes on a hard drive. Recently I went to see the New Spiderman Movie in 3D and the advances in that technology Amazing but after it made me sad why is not mans capabilities being used elsewhere to that extent especially here in Australia , Our young people are not really taught science and to be able to use their brain to that extent or especially to think in a creative manner. Most of our young leaving school the most they can expect is a low paid low skilled job and even worse the rising youth unemployment in Australia and to make it worse we have Hockey & Abbott blaming the youth for Youth unemployment.
