THEY THINK WE ARE FOOLS... Never has profligacy been this so - TopicsExpress

THEY THINK WE ARE FOOLS... Never has profligacy been this so entrenched in our government as is the case now. Never has corruption been this so romanticised and institutionalised. Never have we witnessed a leadership exhibit this level of gross ineptitude and meretricious mediocrity.... We watch as they plunder, pillage and siphon our oil wealth and treasury. We watch as they moved corruption from the corridors of power to the sitting rooms and bedrooms of power. We watch as billions of dollars grow wings every now and then. And we watch as they continue to violate all extant laws of corruption of the land. They promised us electricity. Instead, we get black-outs. And the tariffs keep skyrocketing. They promised us protection, instead what we get is deaths from every corner. We now live with fear, not knowing who next death will visit. Our house, church, mosque, market, bus parks... nowhere is safe. They emasculated, and demoralised our once internationally feared military to a point where a rag tag terrorist elements have carved out a caliphate out of a sovereign state! And now they want to sacrifice the life of the soldiers on the alter of their collective impotence. They built a government based on tissues of lies and deceit. They used billions of naira to buy fictitious stoves. And, they claim there is no money. After 6 months we are still shouting Bring back our girls. Meanwhile many more continue to be abducted. Our youths are jobless. Our Naira has lost it value. Our healthcare system is grossly comatosed. Our judiciary is in a state of chaos. Our educational sector is in shambles. Nothing seems to be working. Yet, they want us to vote for them again. They think we are fools. They see us as imbeciles. But we will show them we are not. We are tired of only praying for change. This time we will follow it up with our hands. Not with guns, cutlass or blows; but with our votes; with a single thumbprint per person, devoid of violence. As for those sycophants, who chose to reason through their anus, and dwell in blind ethno-religious sentiments, let me borrow a word from madam Pat: kontunue. Nigerians are not deaf or blind. They have realised it is time for a revolution: a bloodless revolution that will reverse the current path to total ruins king NEBU II is driving driving our dear country to. Enough is enough. WE ARE NOT FOOLS.
