THEY WORE CRIMSON: CLARK BOLER: T; 1960-1963; Tuscaloosa County High School, Northport, AL 1961 National Championship Team; 1961 SEC Champions; Sugar Bowl win against Arkansas 1964-1965: Graduate Assistant with 1964 National Championship Team and 1965 National Championship Team Pitcher on the Alabama Baseball Team Played Basketball his freshman year at Bama Member of the Alabama “A” Club and the Alabama Baseball Alumni Recipient of the 2011 Paul W. Bryant Alumni-Athlete Award to former athletes whose accomplishments have been outstanding based on character, contributions to society, professional achievement, and service. Mr. Boler died in Marietta, GA on November 29, 2013. Educator and Coach: During his 42-year teaching career, he coached both high school and college sports, won numerous championships, and saw many of his high school players receive full scholarships to play college sports. He retired in 2007. He coached football and basketball at many schools, including Bloomsburg State University in Pennsylvania, and Wills, Allatoona, Smyrna, Osborne, Wheeler and Gadsden High Schools.
