THIS HAS BEEN SHARED BY ONE OF OUR SUPPORTERS. "Around 5pm yesterday i saw a ginger cat knocked down by a car on grove rd ballymena. If woman had slowed even slightly she would have missed it, as cat was almost safely across. I stopped and took the cat straight to grove vets but it died in my car. I am so upset. Vets were great and are scanning the cat for microchip to trace owner. The cat was young but a large one, light ginger with darker stripes. Poor wee soul. Second cat i have seen killed on that road on recent weeks. Just in case anyone from Ballymena area rings u about a missing ginger cat....I am sure they would be devastated but glad to have closure.
