THIS IS NOT THE OFFICIAL PROMO (just a sneak peak) The Art Of Bacon Fest is in the works for November 22nd at The Tap. We will have some amazing BACON SCULPTURES & ART on display at 4pm that day. We are still signing up contestants or teams to bring their BACON creations in to display. We will have things like BACON trucks, BACON people, BACON towers or BACON trees. Weve even see bacon rifles, bears, and babies. Those are just examples, not entries, so you can be as creative as you like. The possibilities are endless. The sculpture must be predominantly bacon but can be made on any frame or base material. It doesnt have to be edible. Bacon must be fully cooked or preserved/sealed for obvious safety purposes. It cant be over 50 lbs or more than 3 feet wide. We will award the 2014 winner with the big Golden Bacon Trophy, a framed Certificate of Achievement, and will have a photo and article about their win. They will be The Bacon Grand Poobah and will have all of this to prove it. Later that night we will hold The Miss Sizzlean Bacon Queen 2014 Contest. Contestants will be given 1 sq. yd. of BACON print fabric that day, scissors, and safety pins to create her own outfit to wear for the contest. She can alter, bedazzle, or add to it as desired. The winner will receive a crown, sash, flowers, and will also have a photo and article about her win. Both the Bacon Grand Poobah & Miss Sizzlean Bacon Queen will hold their titles until next years Fest. Register at The Taps FB page messenger or in person at The Tap by Nov 15th.
