THIS IS OUR CHANCE.. Good people, natural selection has reduced the contest for Oron Federal Constituency Seat to the rightful three Local Government Areas of Oron, Udung Uko and Mbo.. Time and chance has presented three aspirants from the three L.G.As, two men in persons of ENGR. KININYI EDUBIO (BOYCE) and HON. NSE EKPENYONG and the only woman in the race, RT. HON. (MRS.) ALICE EKPENYONG.. These three have been our sons and daughter from time.. We have had the privilege of testing two – HON. NSE EKPENYONG and RT. HON. (MRS.) ALICE EKPENYONG in public offices (AKSHA AND PARTY LEADERSHIP). Each of the two have spent at least eight (8) years in public offices.. Our knowledge of their performances and capabilities in those positions are yet intact.. How they have represented the ORO INTEREST in their capacities as carriers of our mandate while they lasted in those positions can as well be better judged by us.. ENGR. KININYI EDUBIO (BOYCE) on the other hand has been a private person all this while.. We as well equally are clued in on his profile (activities, antecedents and disposition over the years).. How he has represented our interest as a private person is not also hid from our reach.. His performances and capabilities are public knowledge.. What we need do is put each aspirant side by side their score card so as to be better informed on who deserves the people’s mandate.. What kind of representation is Oro looking out for?.. Who has the voice, capacity and spirit to stand firm and defend the Oro cause?.. This is important because the Uwak tempo must either be maintained or surpassed.. Where will our interest be best served?.. ENGR. KININYI EDUBIO (BOYCE) ? HON. NSE EKPENYONG ? RT. HON. (MRS) ALICE EKPENYONG ? This indeed is our chance to elect that man/woman to carry the torch for our all-important struggle for self-assertion as a people.. Remember, our decision will either strengthen or weaken our chances of defeating the enemy at the door.. THINK PROGRESS! THINK CREDIBILITY!! THINK RESULT-ORIENTED & PEOPLE-CENTRED REPRESENTATIO!!!
