THIS IS WHAT WE WAITED MORE THAN 3 YEARS FOR? Under Board of Directors former president Paul Greenberg and current president Colleen Rooney we have been subjected to an unending hallway renovation project. We all know the depressing and frustrating story— Gaping holes in the walls Dangling wires Plastic-covered floors with no work done for months Management flyers with completion dates that come and go We’re told over and over the endless delays, cost overruns and visual chaos is all worth it. EVEN THOUGH the Board paid more than $100,000 for a master plan to ensure a consistent look across the property, and this renovation has NOTHING to do with mid-century modern design. “But the striped wallpaper and rococo mirrors do add an intriguing Caesars Palace circa 1985 feel to the property.” EVEN THOUGH shareholders and guests have been inconvenienced for YEARS. “But the brown paint does add a particularly light and airy feel to the corridors.” EVEN THOUGH the disorder made it more difficult to sell units and increase our shareholder-to-investor ratio. “But Paul Greenberg got to design a ceiling and lighting look for the elevator foyers.” A design which made the hallways even more constricted AND added tens of thousands of dollars to the project’s cost. A reasonable person might think this exhausts the missteps and lack of professionalism on this seemingly never ending MILLION DOLLAR project. TAKE A LOOK AT THE CARPET AROUND THE BASEBOARDS.
