THIS. Love this so hard. I have been on the receiving end of those stares, smirks & comments. Ive witnessed the look of surprise when people chat me up in the grocery store while I am out with Miles & Hazel - Im told how lucky I am to have the perfect family of one boy and one girl, and then I blow their mind by telling that I have two more at home. I have been told to learn how birth control works (Im 32 years old - if I didnt know how it works I would have WAAAY more than four kids, mmmkay??) and that I am shortchanging my kids by having to split my time between all of them (because spending time with ALL of them at the same time is just. not. possible. Riiiight?) A home full of kids maybe isnt for everyone but it doesnt mean that its not right for ME. I couldnt imagine our fourth not being in our lives and many days I am sad that we are done even though my four children keep me plenty busy. What else can I say? Big families FTW!
