THIS WAS WRITTEN TO INEC FROM CORRUPT ME IF YOU CAN MOVEMENT Sir/Madam SUGGESTIONS TOWARDS 2015 ELECTIONS THE CORRUPT ME IF YOU CAN is a non-political, non-religious socio-spiritual MOVEMENT initiated by Kenneth Amanma Wisdom for the purpose of fighting corruption from the grassroots starting with oneself. Its principal activity includes itinerantly suffusing the message of changing mindsets towards nation building through consistent emphasis on values and virtues. Since July this year, the movement started championing an awareness on the 2015 general election with a leaflet which headlines: ‘Your Vote is your Vital Obligation To Election. The essence of the awareness is not to indict any political party or cast aspersion on any political candidate but to spur the people of Nigeria to come out en masse for the 2015 general election, that they should see it as their national priority to genuinely cast their votes without intimidation for that particular candidates they have found out about deliver the needed result in our society. It stretches the populace to really do their personal findings on the candidates before casting their votes, which over the years has been lacking. In the course of our awareness, we found out that a lot of Nigerians who have already lost hope in Nigeria are even more skeptical about the electoral process in the feeling that their votes would never count. They needed us to give them some kind of reassurance that their votes count in 2015 general election with the awareness we have been championing. And our humble suggestion to you is this,although this might be against the tenet of democracy but it is a harmless one. We are suggesting that there should be military presence in the period of election. This will go a long way to reassure Nigerians of the credibility of their votes, and curb the power of political thugs, bullies and siphoners of ballot boxes during election. We believe that the combine presence of the military and the police would not only fillip people to come out but also put to rest violence and indeed guarantee us a free and fair election. We ask that INEC would consider this and see how possible it is
