THIS WEEKS REPORT 24/10/2014: Another hot weekend coming up and a another good reason to hit the rivers or lakes.The Murray is back on the rise again and the water conditions are pretty good for bait and lure fishing and all the other rivers are steady. -Anglers fishing in the Speewa area picked up yellas to around 2lb last weekend on scrubbies. -The Murray close to Swan Hill and further out is producing good numbers of yellas to 50cm on yabbies and worms. -The Wakool River continues to produce yellas in the following areas: -One angler landed 6 yellas up to 49cm scrubworms at the Gee Gee Bridge. -The Kyalite area has yellas to 4.5lb taking yabbies,shrimp and worms. -A bloke fishing around the Currnament Bridge finished up landing yellas to 50cm on yabbies last saturday afternoon. -There is also reports of yellas taking most baits at the Murray/Wakool Junction and further along at Boundary Bend. -I havnt had any reports from the lakes this week but with the hot weather around the fish will still be on the bite. #Dont forget the Annual Redfin Classic ran by the Kerang Football Club is on this weekend at Lake Charm starting Saturday morning,you can still book in on the Friday night or on the Saturday morning.
