THOUGHTS ANYONE? Please speak ladies, want to hear your voices on this one. I wasnt going to touch this topic, but its bothering me too much in my soul not to speak on it. This is in regards to the Ray Rice situation. Yes, we dont know everything. But what in the world is wrong with people? This is where Im fed up about the whole thing of women wanting someone big to protect them & also this drive to be with boys (athlete, celebrity, or whatever) who are abusive. I personally dont know if Ray Rice has been beating on her or this is the first time. But here are the facts. The video is extremely disturbing. A woman is knocked out, dragged out the elevator. In addition, shes still willing to marry him? Then the comments his lawyer been making is also bad. The comments make it sound like hes excusing, justifying knocking her out. Sorry, but this is wrong. And the fact shes going along with all of this, sends the wrong msg to women and young girls that this is ok. And the announcement that theyre in counseling is wrong because they should have been in counseling & fixed B4 marrying. Regardless of the outcome, the wife, Janay Rice (formerly Palmer) really is looking bad to go along with this. If nothing else, think about your child and your self-respect. I dont care who started it, being dragged out of a hotel elevator, then marrying the man, is not good. As for Ray Rice, get real. Youre in the elevator, let her hit you (if thats the case). Be a man & just move on. If shes that volatile, then neither of you needs to be with each other. If you did knock her out, then you need to be in jail. They both need counseling and not be together.
