THROWBACK THURSDAY FOLKS....,many times I does lament the demise of proper music television. NOBODY defined an era like Casey Kasem and his America Top 10 Countdown....I think NOBODY in Trinbago can forget the legendary VJ who died recently after a long period of suffering. Caseys show launched so many careers and gave us a love for 80s pop that NOBODY who lived in the era could ever forget....The first time I heard Lionel Ritchie, Journey and Phil Collins was on this show....Casey was also the voice of Shaggy in the classic Scooby Doo cartoons and Robin in the Justice League.
