THUMB UPDATE: Received re-constructive surgery yesterday. Surgeon rebuilt thumb from surrounding thumb, and a part of my palm. We now play the waiting game to see if infection kicks in. I cannot play violin for at LEAST a month. This means no shows in April, and no Europe tour. Im frustrated, but extremely grateful that it wasnt worse. I strongly believe that there is a silver lining in all of this, and the afforded break from using my left hand will lead to other opportunities. In the meantime, come by and visit! And if you happen to have anything for pain, Ill happily take it. 8)
