THURSDAY MORNING WEATHER UPDATE Thursday is starting out cloudy and cool with temperatures near 40 degrees. There are areas of light rain in the area. Winds high up in the atmosphere will keep clouds around for the morning. Mid-morning temperatures will climb to near 44. Rain chances will drop off quickly as we reach the noon hour. An upper level system will push east of the area with brisk west winds in the upper atmosphere. This will work to clear out the clouds. Lunchtime temperatures will be in the 50s. High clouds will remain for the afternoon but we will see some sunshine. This will be the start of a warming trend that will last into the weekend. Another surge of cool air will arrive on Saturday but it will come from the Pacific and not have that much of a punch. Have a great day.
