TIME EVADES The distance remained safe, faster I reached None was apart each lived pushing me ahead, A mute girl carries me from corridor to backyard Asserting that I am the dear one to go far, Claiming that flowers would take away their eyes I can pursue a search in them my deep felt love The out flowing sadness of darkness for touch. The mute girl keeps an account right from birth Surveying my arrival while crawling near grandma, From a show piece to reach to circular streets Rushing out hastily to fetch life on chosen things, Her slippery hands I am no more able to hold My controller fetters to lose putting me in wind. The mirror I loved is cracked to hold my image I am weak to tie off the knot of my doors May be like a lamp in wind fail to hold the flame, I search the cradling hands in darkness She smiles at me “I routinely moved with you But don’t belong to the place where you shall go” Composed and copy right by Rajendra K. padhi
