TIP 2: Get creative! At A Level, no matter what subject you study, being able to write well, and with flair, will help you express your ideas and impress the examiner. You don’t have to be creative, but it helps. Buy yourself a notebook, or create a cool page on your tablet or laptop, and then get writing – it could be a poem in the style of Carol Ann Duffy, or a short play or story on themes of revenge or set in 1920s America. Or something else altogether. By doing writing, you’ll help yourself understand writing!
