TIP: ADAPTERS - Microscope Objectives. Fitting a M/obj to a camera lens I was just asked the question. Be mindful that although there are some standards the thread size of some m/objs from different companies (Nikon, Lomo, Mitutoyo etc) may be different which means you will need different adapters or a combination of adapters. I am building a record of lenses, m/objs and what adapters to use to make life easier for everyone. Took me ages to figure some out but why does it have to be so hard! For those members here that use m/objs, can you please share the following below headings so I can add to my register which I will post here for all to see: For each m/obj and or lens can you insert the details in the HEADINGS belowand email to me : denis@liquidgecko 1.Camera 2. Lens/Bellows/Etubes 3.m/obj brand & magnification 4.Adapter The example images are a 10x infinity lens which must be used ona ZOOM lens , you can see the 2 adapters
